Shenzhen iN City Plaza, formerly known as “CITIC City Plaza,” was first introduced in 2002 with the positioning of being “the essence of Asian commerce,” becoming Shenzhen’s first true shopping mall. It was not only a commercial landmark that witnessed the city’s development, but also a place filled with the memories of a generation of Shenzhen residents. However, over time, issues such as aging facilities and limited functional scenarios became increasingly apparent. This once-prominent commercial landmark gradually lost its vitality, fading into the margins of public memory. Revitalizing foot traffic and restoring its appeal became an urgent challenge—making a comprehensive transformation inevitable.

After one year and five months of closure for renovation, the 73,000-square-meter commercial complex has been revitalized with 350 stores, covering a wide range of sectors including retail, dining, entertainment, social spaces, and sports.
